We’re looking for an experienced, initiative, proactive and self-driven Senior/Lead PHP Developer or Genius (wannabes are welcome, too). We thrive in the Childcare industry in the US with our SaaS products: Lead Management, Marketing Automation through phone calls, SMS, emails, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Landing Pages. We transform highly complicated technical challenges into very simple to use web products for non tech savvy users. We make their daily tasks easier and their businesses more efficient.
Responsibilities:
-Passionate about coding and new technologies
-Willing to take ownership of projects and present proposed solutions to the wider team to non-technical staff
-Consistently delivers and keeps up to date on best practices/standards and programming methods
-Able to perform effectively to tight deadlines, work well both independently and as a part of a team
-A proactive attitude to problem solving and an understanding of the role of development in a creative environment
Requirements:
-Indefinite (you should enjoy it) experience in PHP
-Experience in various DBs, i.e. MySQL, ElasticSearch, and their optimization
-Experience in PHP frameworks
-Experience in API integrations
-Ability to identify performance bottlenecks
-Excellent knowledge in GIT and Composer
-Good English language skills (written and spoken)
Beneficial skills:
-Experience in architectural design patterns
-Have built open APIs, worked with Swagger
-Have accepted commits to public open source repositories
-Experience with ImpressPages, WordPress
-Experience with Twilio, Mailgun, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp integrations
-Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and/or JavaScript frameworks
-Knowledge of DevOps, AWS, ELK stack, Docker, CI, CD
