Lithuanian Language Teacher
Job purpose
To teach pupils in your assigned classes within the school and carry out duties as required by the Senior Leadership Team.
Ensure that planning, preparation, assessment and reports meet the
expectations of the school.
To actively contribute to wider school development and growth.
Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge and work with the SLT to merge both the English and Lithuanian curriculums.
Demonstrate a proactive approach towards professional development.
Requirements
Start date August 24th 2022
Detailed knowledge of the relevant aspects of the Lithuanian National Curriculum
Evidence of active participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Teaching Degree
Excellent level of English, both spoken and written.
Successful Completion of Induction Year
Minimum of two years teaching experience
Experience of integrating the use of iPads and other IT devices into learning
Adapts teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
Knowledge and understanding of the Primary Lithuanian Curriculum
Creativity in teaching a topic-based curriculum in an international setting
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
