Position: FO IT Support Coordinator / FO Systems Administrator
Reports to: Head of IT Support
Location: Limassol, Cyprus
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Foreign Office (FO) infrastructure administration and ownership
• Coordination of Foreign Office (FO) IT specialists and outsourced resources
• Propose, track and implement Foreign Office infrastructure improvements
• Manage and lead Global FO infrastructure standardization projects
• 2nd and 3rd line FO user and system support
• Provide guidance and technical advice to FO IT Specialists, conduct training and development
• Facilitate FO Team integration and deeper involvement in global IT infrastructure
• Serve as an escalation point between HQ team and FO team.
• Build-up and maintain detailed Global infrastructure documentation
• Manage brand new office launches, setup their IT infrastructure from scratch (A to Z)
• Coordinate and manage office building expansions and relocations
• Optimization and improvement of day-to-day activities of Global IT infrastructure.
• Liaising with FO related parties: GMs; Contractors; ISPs; VOIP providers; IT Vendors, etc
REQUIREMENTS
Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar University degree (or relevant experience)
Minimum of five-year work experience is required, at least two in Systems Administrator role
Strong Windows Server (2008r2 and above) operating skills, Server Core and remote tools
Previous experience with Hyper-V, installation and configuration
Active Directory and Group Policy experience, including common tools and best practices
Experience with active network equipment: switches, routers, firewalls
Passion for IT and to desire to learn new things as well as take on new responsibilities
Will be considered as advantage
• Previous Unix knowledge and experience, installation and configuration
• Programming or hands on scripting skills
• Monitoring system administration or rollouts
• People or team management skills
Fluency in English is a must
