Role: Head of Payments
Objective: To assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilization of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company.
Responsibilities:
• Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow;
• Manage balance sheet and day-to-day liquidity to support the business needs;
• Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions;
• Design and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks (foreign currency and interest rate risks);
• Prepare and monitor company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modelling;
• Prepare liquidity and other financial risks management reporting;
• Evaluate, develop and implement liquidity management IT systems;
• Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes;
• Manage relationships with financial service providers;
• Monitor financial service providers fees and address quality issues;
• Make recommendations on investments of short term cash surplus in bank deposits and money market instruments;
• Prepare appropriate regulatory and compliance reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance;
• Good analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills;
• Good spreadsheet and modelling skills;
• Experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses;
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements;
• Experience in communication with financial service providers is plus;
• Knowledge of treasury software is a plus;
• CFA/ACCA/CPA designations are plus.
